Electric Motorbikes For PSER Registrants
The Punjab government has announced to provision of Electric Motorbikes For PSER Registrants. An electric motorbike scheme has been started for male and female students. Under this scheme, petrol and electric motorbikes are distributed to the students. The distribution of the first phase of the electric and petrol motorbike scheme has been completed. In the first phase, about 19,000 petrol and 1,000 electric motorbikes have been distributed.
11676 petrol motorbikes were distributed to male students, and 7324 petrol motorbikes were distributed to female students. Electric motorbikes have been distributed to 700 male students and 300 female students. Ms. Maryam Nawaz said that the distribution of the second phase will also start soon. Those who want to join the second phase should complete their registration in PSER as soon as possible.

The government of Punjab is giving a subsidy of about one billion rupees to the students under the electric and petrol motorbike scheme. To join this scheme, students have to fulfil certain eligibility conditions. Students who are 18 years of age or above will be eligible for the electric motorbike scheme. Regular students of a college or university will be able to join this scheme.
Students who know how to ride a motorbike and have a driving license will be provided with electric or petrol motorbikes. After receiving all the applications till the last date, the draw will be conducted. Students selected in the lottery will be provided with electric or petrol motorbikes.
