Police Sahoolat Markaz
On august 1, 2025, Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed officially established the province’s first Police Sahoolat Markaz in Khyber District. The inaugural ceremony was attended by AIG IT CCPO Peshawar, Qasim Ali Khan, DPO Khyber, Rai Mazhar Iqbal, and other senior police officers. The objectives of establishing the Police Sahoolat Markaz are as follows:
- Increasing public confidence,
- providing transparent and
- timely services at the tribal meeting.
As part of further development measures, the police have been equipped with modern technology, armored vehicles, safety jackets, and weapons. A special committee will be formed to review the issues of the martyrs of the Khasadar forces.
Why was the Police Sahulat Center established?
Police Facilitation Centers have been established to provide various police services to the public in a convenient, fast, dignified, and transparent manner in one place. These centers aim to provide a friendly and modern environment to the citizens, saving them the hassle of going to the police station, where they can obtain character verification, vehicle or mobile information, a driving license, a copy of FIR, and other facilities. These centers play an important role in building trust between the police and the public, saving time and promoting a positive image of the police.

The center will offer 18 different police services under one roof,
- including police clearance certificates
- character certificates
- Registration of foreign nationals
- Employee installation checks
- driving licenses
- Traffic driving schools
- Stolen Goods Reports
- legal advice
- Special facilities for women and slums.

Under the agreement with NADRA, immediate verification of the ID card will also be possible at the same center, with a fixed fee of Rs. 120.

The digital system will provide online facilities and a quick search of identity cards. The measures will provide equal services to the public in Faisalabad, Nowshera, and Charsadda.
